PhD student María Carracedo Pérez and Dr. Clara López Iglesias, members of I+D Farma, have taken part in the Santander X Explorer program in recent months. The program was organized by the USC’s Area of Valorization, Transfer and Entrepreneurship (AVTE) in collaboration with Banco Santander. This initiative provides international-level training in entrepreneurship and innovation through a combination of online and in-person sessions.

The program concluded with the Demo Day on June 5 at the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences, where all participants presented a pitch of their projects and answered questions from the jury.

María and Clara’s innovation project, which offers an advanced technological solution using supercritical CO₂ for the sterilization and disinfection of medical and food products, was unanimously awarded first prize by the jury.
