This prestigious contest, born in the University of Queensland in 2008, challenges PhD Students to present their research in only three minutes, with the help of only one slide, hence promoting scientific communication skills and knowledge transference. The Pitch provided by Lucía Aboal was remarkable because of the clarity and conciseness of the exposition, and the ability to engage a non-specialized public.
