María Vivero-López, iMATUS researcher at USC, has been named Member of the Year by the Controlled Release Society for her commitment to the organization and to promoting equity and inclusion in science. She actively participates in committees such as the Young Scientists Committee and is a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Nottingham with a grant from the Ramón Areces Foundation.
